On March 28th 2015 the Amy Mayer and the Red Cross hosted a TeamFireStopper Event a the Coalinga Fire Department where the public was invited to attend a free luncheon where citizens went to multiple stations learning about fire safety and how to prepare for an emergency. Handouts where given in a packet that outlines a plan, contact information, disaster safety checklist , home fire safety checklist, pet emergency go bag list, an escape plan, and a hands only CPR handout. Those who completed the course were given a small kit pictured below.
